Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures
Required Equipment
· Two “Class A” Primary Regulators
o One of which must have a second stage hose of 7ft in length.
· Deco Regulator (Oxygen cleaned)
o Guard or cover on mouth piece
· All Independent gas sources must have a submersible pressure gauge
· BCD must have sufficient lift to support diver with all gear
· Ascent Reel with lift bag / Surface Marker Buoy
o Reel adequate for maximum planned depth
o Non-dump lift bag (minimum 50lb. Lift)
· Wreck reel
· Two cutting tools
· Small Slate (Wrist Slate Recommended)
· Decompression tables
· Two instruments for depth and bottom time (digital bottom timer or dive computer recommended)
· Bottom Gas Cylinders (Din Valve Recommended)
o Sufficient size for dive (gas needed X 1.5)
o Dual outlet valves (doubles or H valves)
o If single tank is used a adequate bailout pony with bottom gas sufficient for a safe ascent and deco must be carried
o Cylinders must be correctly labeled for gas content.
· Deco Gas Cylinders (Din Valve Recommended)
o Sufficient size for Deco (gas needed X 1.5)
o Cylinder must be correctly labeled for gas content.
· Exposure Suit Adequate for the dives
